I liked that Harry got the chance to be a flawed father with everyday conflicts with his child. It's in line with JKR's forever dream for the Harry character: that he get to have an unglamorous life like normal people. Normal people say shit like "I sometimes wish you weren't my child." And then spend ages repairing that damage.
I loved it. It had flaws, but probably to about the same degree as the seven books.
