Thunder, Lightning, Rain!! Weather! I so missed thunderstorms! One strike earlier however was so close and so hard my ears rang and I got that concussion type lag in thinking for a bit. Woo! Later when the lightning stops I want to go run around in the rain. REAL rain not pissy drizzle like in the bay area. I so missed weather

To be humbled in the cathedral of nature is a gift of vision. Not in some grandiose sense, but to see your self as the tiny throbbing mortal thing you are. I think it is too easy for us with our soft well fed bellies and our hypnotic eletric lights to forget those things.

I always referred to the forest as my 'church' and wrote some post a while back painting a verbal similarity with the arches of limbs above to the flying butresses and archways of manmade holy places. My holy places are far older than that, not that the manmade ones aren't fascinating but the natural ones are just mind-bogglingly awesome. For the meaning I mean by the word awesome..see the dictionary def of it ;)

On an unrelated note.. I found my ex army tritium compass. Woo radioactivity! :D

Oh.. and I'm very mortal.. very tiny..like a katamari.. and very throbbing..but that comes and goes.
