Cleaning house

As a long term users of certain peices of social organiser software, I find myself once a year or more going through a long list of people who no longer log in, exchange text with me, or who are no longer approachable for whatever reason with my open point of view. Whenever I clean out something like that it makes me feel kind of sad, like scrapig away the last vestiges of possibility with somethin gthat at one point intriuged me.

True, that feeling does creep in, but then I remember that I can always re-add them if that reason that I added them in the first place returns. Oh well.
