I know a lot of people have avoided it for the same reason, and it's true that Mads' take is very different (since Hannibal is out and about now, he can't joke about sodomy when he's maintaining a successful practice, right??) but I adore the show. We just recently got to see Hannibal go monster on someone and it was totally worth it. It's nothing like Hannibal Rising!!! You should give it a chance.
