Had a lovely night w/ great friends. Ended a bit early in order to get the babysitter home. Was at work for a chunk of today wondering if there is really that little to do for most folks.

Hoping for a better 2009, but still appreciating the good aspects of 2008.

It is with great sadness that I post here about the death of our eldest dog. She was almost 12 years old and we have had her since May of 1997. She died suddenly overnight and we find ourselves at a loss without her.

She was a sweet natured collie who has loved us all well.

Started the new temp assignment today. Ya, strange day to start, but I figured it would be worth it for the extra cash. The parking lot didn't have much snow, so I waited until after almost 3:30 to head out to the car. Whoops ( Read more... )

A friend mentioned seeing a recipe for Apple Cranberry Crisp on the show Cooks Country. It appears to have been an October show. I can't access the recipe on their website w/out enabling an account. Anyone have the magazine or an online account who could grab that recipe ( Read more... )

After 137 years, the New England Flower Show will not take place in 2009. There may be one or two smaller shows, but not the big one. Spring won't be the same without it.

In small events, Tazo tea is now marketing through BJs. They are offering the chai concentrate in warehouse packaging. Perhaps sales in the boutique coffee shops are sufficient?
