after the hospital to get her checkup, my girl came over to my place and did my laundry, did dishes and straightened up... i know this is something that should make me happy and feel like im taken care of, the way men should like... in my head i know what a sweet and caring gesture this is, i know she is doing it because i made an old style lasagna

Like any change, it's going to take time. Maybe it was just too much at once. Talk to her about it and tell her how you feel so you don't end up harboring resentment. Know she did this out of love or you and her feelings may be hurt, but don't bottle this up or you'll end up blowing the whole thing up. Been there, done that, got the t shirt.
