Should I apply for a radio show?  Wow i'd be nervous to play...but at the same time I've never really promoted myself outside of Winnipeg.

A radio show with which station?

My experience with it was that it got a little bit tedious after a while, going in week after week. I had a lot of fun with it, but you also find yourself bound up in a lot of regulations and policies.

I have to conduct more research but it seems like they have a lot of open time and are looking for more DJ's to fill in slots.

i agree with demention. when i had a show on CKUW there had to be a certain percentage Canadian and new release. luckily for me, my shows format didn't that too hard, but there isn't a ton of Canadian produced trance out there.

i don't want to discourage you - it's a lot of fun in many ways so by all means go for it.

It's actually an online station based out of the UK. I posted the link in my reply to Dementions comment.

if you know you got the time and are available, then sure!
I used to shoutcast when i was playin at home to a handful of people, it made practicing that much funner.

see, practicing on shoutcast to friends would be fun. This site is based in the UK though, that kinda makes me nervous.
