He's mean, he uses people, he has no sense of loyalty and only the crudest sense of justice and right-ness. Awesome. I was, in fact, in the middle of writing back to your e-mail, and I was trying to articulate how I felt about Black. I like him, but not in a rooting for him way, just yet. I was shocked when he killed Imeel, I enjoyed reading your previous post about what was going on there. And your point about the voices in the wall also calling out 'brother' to Black, was a good one... I do agree that the moment where Black regrets killing Imeel could be 'fleshed out' a bit more; especially given how crucial it is to Black as a turning point. I eagerly look forward to the next installment!
