There is a permanent smile on my face that just keeps getting bigger with each picture. I love the around the world ones. I remember all the celebratory ones spanning the globe after the election results. It's just fantastic to see after five years of the world hating us.

And you rock! That mp3 is on permanent forever rotation! :)

i completely have perma-smile too! the global pics really put this whole thing into perspective, don't they? maybe i've just not paid as much attention to an election/inauguration as this past one, but i don't remember seeing quite this level of worldwide interest/enthusiasm for a US President in a long time, if ever.

it's sort of surreal, even after seeing President Obama in his first full day in office. i'm just so thrilled to finally be able to say i'm optimistic about the direction this country is headed in!

lolol Bush Sr was rocking that hat, the purple scarf, and the bright yellow sweater! i noticed that Biden's bible was, like, twice the size of Jill Biden while Obama's was all wee baby bible. XD

i definitely brought myself to tears putting this picspam together. :3 i really dig the global pics too. it puts the scale of what the past eight years have been for the rest of the world as well into persepctive, and it shows how much optimism everyone seems to have in President Obama.
