So mrsftv is watching the Orange Bowl, because his alma mater's playing in a bowl for the first time since 1968 or some damn thing, and ZZ Top is the halftime entertainment. Don't get me wrong, I love me some "Sharp-Dressed Man", but huh? ZZ Top? Did the original act not show and FOX called the local casino showrooms in a panic? Seriously.

If it's any consolation, ZZ Top did a song called Lagrange years ago. In celestial mechanics, the Lagrange points are the 5 points in a three-body system where the third body can be located with zero energy. Unfortunately, three are unstable while two are stable. Thus, the name for the L5 society (L4 is also stable while L1, L2 and L3 aren't).

So there is a tie-in with an SF fan :-)
