maybe the tide is turning..

..over 24 hours have passed and nothing has gone wrong.
Still, I am suspicious and paranoia lingers strong. Let's keep this up, O pioneer princess. Maybe if we just stay inside with the doors locked...maybe we can do another 24.

Bill~ There are shower stools designed for the elderly or disabled. You should even be able to find one of those used at St Vinnies.. or new at the sorts of places you'd find those hand bars for tubs/showers.
Yes, it is difficult to adapt to life with a broken bone, especially without live-in help. I still can't braid my hair! and I don't want to cut it. So I wait for my friend Joa to come over every so often and braid it for me. The rest of the time I go around with frizzy needing to be braided hair.
Try chopping veggies one handed or going to the bathroom. It makes one sing praises for the second appendage. I'm not familiar with the particular idiosyncrasies of daily life on one leg, but I'll think about it today as I go through my simple mundane routines and tasks.
Can Patti walk? Is she on crutches?
