Somehow the idea to go on a proper 'date' had been a surprise to her. Of course she knew there were some kind of feelings between her and the B.S.A.A agent, but she never thought to act upon them. They had met on so many odd occasions, in places where it didn't really seem appropriate to just go prancing around like a happy couple. Could they even be called that? It was strange to think about really, but she knew she couldn't say no. That would have been rude and she would never miss out on the opportunity that had presented itself.

She would have paid to see Chris fumbling around a flower shop though, that would have been enough to entertain her for the next five years.

But she hadn't so imagine her surprise when she finally arrived at their designated meeting area, only to find Chris with a bouquet of pink flowers and looking wistfully off to the side. Already she was embarrassed, but she put on her best smile, smoothed her dress out and headed on over.
