[There's no service here, Dojima, and by now, the battery's probably dead, too. Don't know how much help that will be. That's all right, though, because a gunshot suddenly flies through the window to his side, and through some stroke of luck, manages to hit the Faceless (how were they even talking) square in the forehead (or where the forehead should've been, if he had a brow). The soldier goes down with a thump, sword clacking to the floor.

From behind the wall with the now-broken window comes the sound of some sort of scuffle outside. Had it been entirely pure luck that an errant bullet had flown inside? Talk about cutting it close.]

[Dojima stops short, just about to switch objects when the gunshot sounds. The phone clacks to the ground in his surprise as he stumbles back, just dodging the body of the soldier, head at Dojima's feet. There's no blood - just a dark hole.

Once his head catches up, pulse evening back out and ears adjusting to the ringing, he glances to the shattered window. (His left ear had grown a bit sensitive from the gunshot so close to it that time.) Through it, he can see two figures in a struggle. It can't be chance that a shot made it perfectly through the window and through the head of a card soldier. Slowly, he makes his way over to get a clearer look.]

[Just as Dojima nears the window, someone's head slams up against the glass, exacerbating the hole caused by the bullet with a spiderweb of cracks. It's an armored head, and it slides down with a thump, the spear the soldier was holding clattering to the ground. Through the window, Adachi's face stares at Dojima's with surprise, gun in hand.]

....Huh?!

[He can't help but jump back at the sudden slam against formerly-broken-now-magically-fixed glass, watching as the soldier falls to the ground. Deja vu. He looks up just to see a surprised Adachi. The twitch of his brow is quick, and from the distance the other man is at, he probably won't notice. Dojima steps further back, wordlessly and wary.]
