I would imagine, Jordan, that you are the bad guy because you have what everyone wants. In that you have an easy friendship with no complications with Cliff. Isn't that just what people want really? On the inside? With none of the hurty crap? It's the ideal, the friendship and the closeness, closer than anyone can get with a guy who won't love?
Try to rise above it darlin, whoever's spouting this crap doesn't have a clue what they're yellin about and it's most likely fueled by jealousy.
I don't understand this though. Me and Cliff parted as friends. If anyone should get a break it is him. I thought Carmen was that break. I am not even in touch with Cip that often. I might get an e-mail a month, and that is just enough to let me know he is still kicking. He thinks he is bullet proof, he ain't.
Your right about me getting above it. Just I am innocent of what I am being blamed for. :(
Did the person that singled you out as the enemy explain why they blame you?
Remember, everyone wants someone else to blame. It's so easy to make someone else the villain, particularly when having someone to blame eases one's own pain. Don't let it phase you, keep doing your own thing and eventually it will all blow over. Just a storm in a teacup.
The blame is I am the reason she can't get him back. I know Cip well enough that he would never say something so completely wrong. He wouldn't use a lie to say something like that.
Why blame me? Blame one of those that think they are his perfect match, and he needs to love them. *sigh* I just don't understand it.
Ah... I think I might be able to deduce the solution to the riddle. Look back through your livejournal posts, and you mention Carmen deleting her journal and that you thought that she had a new "friend".
If Carmen has got a new friend, then Cliff will believe that she has moved on for good, and won't go back to her because he thinks it would disrupt her life and upset her. If she has got a friend but tried to hide it (unsuccessfully), he won't go back to her because she would have been lying to him about having/not having a replacement.
Carmen sent out very few emails before deleting her journal. If your speculation led to Cliff trying to find out more about the existance of a friend or not (I'll admit that Carmen's disappearance came up in my conversations with him so I may well be at fault as well), then that may be why she's blaming you. Not for splitting them up, but for making Cliff realise that she'd simply moved on, and so that he should move on as well.

Does that even make sense?
