There is no way I will be able to completely catch up with LiveJournal, but let me say that we had a wonderful time in London. Most importantly, we got a chance to meet up with friends, which was the main point of the trip

Pleasure. Found a great airfare and hotel package that we couldn't resist.

Honestly, for a good hotel in a great area, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Regents Park. Yes, it's a chain, but the room was a decent size for Europe, and it was the perfect location.
