you looked so beautiful tonight across the road, lit by orange hints of street lamps and car headlights. the alcohol has kept me awake since early this afternoon, i sat in the garden watching the guinea pigs race around the grass quite happily in the sun, it was so hot against the black sleeves of your hooded top. i don't know why i kept it so long
