I put some new Snarry up on the Archive:

The Auror, the Potions Expert, and the Cult of Eris

This is the prequel to Not at All Like Old Times. It's NC-17. Things someone might object to include cigars and people under the effects of an aphrodisiac. More detailed warnings are on the linked page. Harry is in his twenties.

I liked this so much that I went looking for its sequel. Both are very entertaining. You have a gift for walking right on the edge of disturbing, yet managing to mix in humour and avoiding real darkness. I look forward to reading more of your fics.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Despite being one of my least smutty sex fics, Not at All Like Old Times is one of the more twisted ones. As a general rule, I don't write sex with characters under 15 (that being the earliest age that a friend of mine had sex and enjoyed it) except for people relating nasty events that screwed them up. Not at All Like Old Times comes close, though; it's sexualized behavior, though not sex, and Harry's physically young, though not mentally young. I'm never quite sure what warnings to put on it.

After I wrote that one (quite a while ago -- over two years) people asked me how they got into that relationship, and I sketched out the plot of this Auror story. A friend suggested putting in some Bush/Blair, but I find that no more sexy than eleven-year-olds. ;-)

"Good original magic. Interesting investigative technique. :o) I also enjoyed the banter and Snape's reactions." I left that comment as immediate feedback at the end of ch. 1, but wanted to let you know that I really enjoyed the whole story. I couldn't sign into the Archive without an invitation, so I thought I'd give you feedback here so you'll have a link to me if you want.

Thank you! I've been enjoying your comments. Unfortunately, it's a pain to reply to reviews on the Archive, so I don't answer all of them, the way I do in LJ or IJ. (Insanejournal is my primary journal at this point.)

Cheers,

Gg
