OOC: Placement is just fine. :)Scott and Ami lie side by side on a blanket in the afternoon sun. The cool ocean breeze negated most of the heat, making sunbathing enjoyable

When she felt more firmly attached to the world again, Ami stood up straight. She couldn't help but wonder if the brief switch was a warning or a punishment of sort for her earlier plans for exploring Blaise's body.

What if we'd swapped when I'd been having a good wank?! The thought was mortifying, certainly. She would never have been able to look Blaise in the eyes again. He'd think I was some sort of tart!

Or just curious, a little voice added. Who's to say that he hasn't been curious?

Ami smacked her hand to her forehead, "And I'm arguing with myself. Brilliant, yeah? Amnesia, body swapping and schizophrenia. Can it get any better?"

"Oh that mother fucking son of a bitch!" Charlie Shannon bellowed, coming around the corner. "I'll kill him!"

Shannon looked up just in time to avoid colliding with Soldier Boy. Assuming it was Soldier Boy...whatever his name was. She couldn't remember. It hadn't ever really been important.

"What?" he asked. "What's wrong?"

Shannon glared at him for an instant, outraged by his temerity--until reason prevailed over outrage and she remembered that he had no idea what she was so exercised about.

Waking up to find herself in this sleazoid's body was bad enough. Knowing that he was back on the beach in her body was worse. But--oh god--the momentary reversal was horrific!

Shannon staggered, falling against the wall of the corridor. The next instant she naked on her makeshift bed, fondling her breasts with one hand and frantically masturbating herself with the other. She was sweating and breathing hard, as if she'd been at this for a while

For the briefest of moments, Ami was glad she didn't have her empathic abilities. Charlie - who clearly wasn't Charlie at all - radiated a furious anger that Ami was relieved she couldn't feel.

I feel sorry for whomever's in Charlie's body, Ami thought as Charlie's body stumbled away. Ami almost followed after, then thought better of it. Whomever it was, they were livid and clearly didn't want company.

With a final glance after Charlie's body, Ami resumed walking. She decided to head for the main kitchen, to see if the researchers had made any progress.
