Oona was very glad a solution had been found. However, there was a tinge of disappointment that she had not been able to prove that well prepared or solidly known magic could work as intended. Oh, but not having to rely on that dangerous spell was a relief.
"Oh well. At least I got to start making notes in these books." Oona closed the nearest book and started to pile them by category then alphabetical order. "We should find a better way to store these than a wooden trunk."
She looked over to Willow and Tara. Oh, how she would love to have Willow's power capacity. But not her problems. "Would you like to start tomorrow? Trying to filter out the taint?"
She glanced briefly at Adam. "And would you... be interested in some sword sparring after that? We can use bamboo as simulated blades. I've not had proper practice in weeks."
Tara, for her part, was relieved. They hadn't really gotten anywhere with the research, and she was increasingly worried about Willow. If they had found a solution that wouldn't jeopardize Willow like that, then she was all for it.
"I think we should start tomorrow," she agreed, nodding to Oona. "Once everyone's been set right again."
She turned to Chloe, whose aura was bright and green-tinged and in harmony with the body surrounding it. Same with George (without the green-tinged part, but they were both set right). "Who else have you switched back so far? And who else knows about this? If we've got a solution, we should make sure we know where everyone is."
"Claire and Inspector Hunt are back where they belong," Chloe said, "and Faith and I, and George and Jack. That's all so far. We just tried this--we weren't sure it would work, but it does."
George, meanwhile, dragged two chairs away from a table and placed them side by side. "So--who wants to go first?"
"While George takes care of you all, I'm going to go round up everyone else so we can get things sorted out," Chloe added.

ENTER MAYDAY
May hurried down the corridors to the smaller cafeteria, hoping that maybe Hiro's reaction was a fluke - that he'd been bitten by a mosquito or something. Still, it didn't hurt to be cautious.
She stuck her head in to see the research crew plus whoever was in George and Chloe - no, wait, Faith-in-Chloe. Everything looked fairly calm, but she didn't see Chloe-in-Faith anywhere. "Hey, has anyone seen Chloe?" That earned her a couple of what-the-hell looks, to which she amended, "Chloe, in Faith? Unless people have started playing musical chairs with bodies again in the last fifteen minutes?"
