Better than a puppy

Julian, our son for the SCA'ers reading this post, turned a week old today.  Yesterday was our first day home.  I've never really been one of those kid people, much less a baby or infant person.  Last night I found myself laying on the bed and staring at him.  And all I could do is smile.  I am really happy he's here.

It only gets better. :) And I also used to be someone who wasn't really into kids and definitelly not into babies, but now with my son, I couldn't imagine life going back to the way it used to be. I am very happy to hear that everyone is healthy and home! :)
