Thank you! Yes, when I found out they were both filmed in Vancouver, I had a pretty good idea that looking into all the extras would reveal a lot of overlap. The thing I love most is that a lot of the major characters in BSG showed up as extras in SPN. Seeing three of the cyclons? And Racetrack and Chief Peter Laird in the same episode as a married couple? Hilarious!

I just stumbled across this list-- nice job with it! I knew a lot of people were in both SPN & BSG, but yor list has at least 30 more people than mine. And this may be way too late, but Michael Hogan (Colonel Tigh in BSG) was in 7.06 (Slash Fiction) as Sheriff Osborne if you wanted to add to the list.

Thanks for the comment! I've been keeping this info up-to-date on the Supernatural Wiki here: http://supernaturalwiki.com/index.php?title=Weren%27t_You_On_Battlestar_Galactica%3F. But I've neglected to update it here! Will do that tonight. Wasn't it awesome seeing Colonel Tigh on SPN? I started flailing, seriously.

Same reaction here! And now that TNT has started rerunning SPN from the beginning, I can go back and see the people (or at least the major people) I missed the first time around. It's like they try to indulge my fandom-related craziness, which is probably the last thing I (or anyone around me) need...
