Eclipse and better than sex post

I loved all of the Twilight books, and I went to see Eclipse tonight with some friends- it was very enjoyable. I think New Moon is my favorite of the 3 movies so far, as Chris Weitz's directing is wonderful (see Golden Compass). I have not read many articles on the movie release, but I find it so humorous that Kristin Stewart takes a backseat to ( Read more... )

I relate to your first thing - I consider getting to the right temperature a major sensual focus. Warming up when it's too cold by entering a warm building, getting near a fire or getting under blankets, and, even more, getting cool when it's too hot by going in the water or into AC or feeling a breeze.

Stretching is also wonderful.

Another one is the totally relaxed feeling when sleep is imminent.

Yes, jumping into a pool or ocean when you are too hot feels wonderful. I also love the feeling of speed on a smooth roller coaster. No spinning though!

When I read the books I was definitely Team Jacob.

Collapsing into bed when you're completely exhausted is so exquisite.

I prefered Edward in the books, but Taylor acts Jacob's part so well that I've switched "teams". Did you ever read Stephenie Meyer's version of Twilight written from Edward's first person perspective? It's on her website. I hope she finishes writing it some day.

It's funny, I'm completely the opposite. I used to stan Rpattz back when he'd only done the Harry Potter movie and so even though Edward is kind of completely ridiculous in the movies I can't help but like him, whereas I took a long time to warm up to Taylor Lautner, and even know I like him more in a 'love to mock him' way.
And yeah, I remember when the Edward POV first leaked and she was so upset about it she decided not to work on it anymore, loldrama.

I already told you that I LOVE the sea... And there are so many wonderful moments at the sea: Just lying on the back on the water, ears under the water, so you don't hear anything, close your eyes and feel the sun on the skin, the ocean under your body.... it's pure happiness!
Or just sit there in the evening, breathing the wonderful air, watching the sun going down, hear the waves gently rolling ...
Or one other unforgettable moment: On the ferry from Italy to Greece, in the middle of the night, silence, somewhere out on the Ionic ocean, just the ships engine and from above a shiny full moon, the pictures on the water...
Sometimes I think I must have been a fish in an earlier life...LOL....

I prefer to think you were a mermaid in a previous life, not a fish. You described the sea perfectly, I love it too.

We were watching the movie Jaws on TV last night, just flipping channels, and my husband asked me "When do you think the kids will be old enough to see this movie?" and I said "Never old enough if you still want them to swim in the ocean with us." I honestly think about that movie EVERY TIME I'm swimming in the ocean.
