Dang it. I hate that horrible melancholy feeling that comes after finishing a good book. Good books make the real world look pale in comparison. Darn it, darn it, darn it

Sorry about the lack of updates on my part. For me, since I have a 28.8k dial-up connection, going on-line is like slow torture that never ends. I think you can understand that, right? Like it takes LITERALLY five minutes for a single page to load, so I've kind of lost the will to update recently. I AM on now so I'll write something. What book did you just finish?? I'm still reading non-stop Terry Pratchett (on "Guards! Guards!" now...SLOWLY going to read every single book). As far as the sewing a dress thing, I might just instead give you one of my old ones, if you wouldn't mind something gently used. I'm pretty disenchanted with almost all of my old stuff, so I kind of want to just get rid of it and start from scratch. I know Elise is partial to this green plaid wench dress I have...so I think she MIGHT kill you if I give you that...but I DO have another dress...you can see it under my pictures on my Myspace page. It's the '03 Tapestry dress. If you want I'd send you the shirt too, even though it is a LITTLE stained (probably from

I could probably find a pattern and some fabric and send it to you (if I get some money soon). I'm almost 5'8, so I have troubles sometimes finding things long enough. I totally wouldn't mind taking some old stuff off of your hands, though. Elise did tell me about the plaid dress. I won't try to steal that one from her, because it sounds like she loves it.
That will be my new project, though. Pattern + Material = Renny makes me a fantabulous-awesome dress!
And no, I would never besmirch Snape's good name. I was thinking of making an adorable fic about young Snape that is both heartwarming and melancholy. I forgot the plotline I was working up, though, so I can't give you specifics.
So I keep counting the months...ftsorJune 28 2007, 09:04:46 UTC
And did you know that if the weekend of February the 8th was the last time I saw you, which it was, it's been over five months. So if we hold off on any sort of hanging out until somewhere around July 10th or 11th, we can totally have like, a half-year reunion. Hahaha, I know I rant about that every time I talk to you. It's just been a damned long time, you know? I can't even imagine how much catching-up we have to do. Plus I still have a shiteload of music that never got to you, including-but-not-limited-to some wrock, Delain, and new Within Temptation. If you haven't heard all of it somehow already

I mean, ahem. Ever randomly get the urge to shout a nonsensical exclamation? I do.
But no, I wasn't actually in Dodge Center on Thursday. I had class, so unless something is going on that I don't know about, I was here. But RRRRGH, WHY must things never go as they should when we're trying to plan something? I'll actually be in Dodge this weekend, but the one after that I'm going up to the cities again. YOU SHOULD SEE IF YOU CAN HANG OUT ON SUNDAY, AND I SHALL DO THE SAME. And you need to check your livejournal before then. Oui. We WILL catch up, one way or another. Anyway, I've got to go pack before mom picks me up.
By the by, I will soon have a myspace page up for my music! Or, at least, I will as soon as myspace stops being a jerk to me and not letting me format things the way I want to. Whee!
