I can't wait until school is done!

Not that I've got a whole lot to complain about, only being in one class and all... But still, school is always school, and always stressful on some level. For instance, I know I'm going to have to write at least two 6-page papers in the next couple weeks...for my ONE CLASS! Oh well. Oh yay! You did it! I had such a hard time thinking of songs ;) For some reason I really like Fiona Apple...I don't really listen to her, but I really like her a lot. And you're totally allowed to gripe even though you have one class. Cause you're working too, right? Well, even if you aren't, you're a busy married lady like me! HAHA!

Just a few facts so you don't lose points with your Professor:

Sam died on December 11, 1964 and "A Change is Gonna Come" was released on December 22, 1964. Sam was on RCA Records at the time; he was never on Motown. He wrote the song earlier in the year and was supposed to sing it on Johnny Carson's "Tonight Show" on February 7, 1964, but never did.

It was an extra-sad time because of the seriousness of the song and that the details of Sam's death were hard to believe. (As well they should've been; the "official version" of his death was a farce.)
