They just keep making me love/hate them...

No spoiler: The Sox won last night. After making me call them a bunch of heartless bums for 3 7/9 worth of games, they have clawed their way back into making it a 3-3 final game tonight. Now once I get out of the Redskins game, #3 for those of you playing along at home, I have to rush back to make it home to pace the floor and curse for another ( Read more... )

Oh, come on, this is old hat for the Red Sox.

2004: Lose 3 of first 4 in ALCS, come back to win pennant, sweep World Series.
2007: Lose 3 of first 4 in ALCS, come back to win pennant, sweep World Series.
2008: Lose 3 of first 4 in ALCS, come back to...

On the other hand, when I mentioned this pattern to prevenger, he was a little bit livid. Let's just say that he won't have many friends in the area for the next week and a half if the Sox win tonight.

On an unrelated note, I have all the Pokemon you need to complete the Diamond Pokedex for you (well, once you level them up). Want some of the old ones too (starters from the previous games, legendaries, etc?).

I know nothing would make Aiden happier than to see some of the older ones, and the prospect of some weird groupings would be pretty groovy from my side also.

As it being old hat, I do agree that in theory that is the case, but it doesn't mean I have to like them doing it. Also we don't have some of the oomp coming into tonight like we have had in the past. Both of these teams are evenly matched and it reminds me of two heavy weight boxers swaying on their feet and all that is needed is for one of them to make that final telling punch.

Double PS....What would the odds be of anyone being up for a Bruins game the week I am up. I will start looking into tickets if anyone is willing to go with me.

I'll see what I can come up with. Show up with a couple of boxes of mons that you don't mind trading away.

I'm always up for hockey, but my funds are basically nonexistent now. What would buy me a mansion in Alabama would be enough for a cardboard box in a good location in Boston.

Well I hear that once a year a bday/Christmas happens that I would be willing to call yours if your schedule is open.

Roger that. Will make sure I have a few dozen Starlies on hand for you.
