During this year so far:
- I've had a "come to Jesus" meeting at I better shape up or ship out of my department.
- Been let-go and taken back at work twice in 2 months.
- Survived a massive reorganization.
- Am now Operations person of the Month.

I'm the king of this house...
Well, I've been up since 2:30 this morning for external testing for work. Finished at 5:00. Couldn't sleep. Came in at 8. And now I'm manager in acting of my team. Gotta love the long days. -

So I'm at that point where I'm giving up on doing things I'm supposed to do and starting to do things I want. Having said that, I think I'm going to go to Europe after my birthday and be a tourist for a week. I've never been, wanted to go, and have a few resources I could exploit to get there. Granted I work at PETA and I get exposed to more of this than most people but in the past week, I've seen myspace videos of a cat wrapped in celephane that was kicked around until it crapped itself and a woman crushing a puppy with her high heels. What the fuck is up with people? -
