Maybe it's the time of year. I see more crows pacing around and milling about. Maybe the start of winter that prompts them to be more active and visible - to prepare for the oncoming cold season ( Read more... )

I've noticed that the older crows speak in a lower volume and tone.

They complain that people blame them for the disappearing song birds, when it's really the hawks.

I've been able to mask speaking to the crows, by using the older crow's voice.

If I lost my alarm clock, the crows would wake me.

hey, don't blame us for the disappearing songbirds. it's the humans letting their dogs run around and car horns giving the little buggers heart attacks that's to blame :P

Yep. I know. My weekends have been hard pressed to find genuine goof off time lately, but it's what I need most. I'd argue that Nov 1 is the next good time to do it - I have no plans, other than recovering from whatever I do to myself on halloween night.
