decisions, decisions...

i have finally made up my mind.
after about three years of humming and hawing and flying scattershot around the world, i have made a decision.
i am applying to the university of toronto's teacher education program for next fall.

i feel really good about this, although already freaked out about money.

Brock, this is really great news. You're an amazing teacher.

No shrugs needed. First of all you'll freakin' ace the teacher training degree... Do you have an age group in mind? High school would be cool because you could teaching proto-adults, but then again, the young 'uns don't have that delightful ... ahem... stoicism.

my ideal age group would probably be grade four or five.
i dont have specific enough field to do high school, and, as you pointed out, they can be really douchy.
so i think later-elementary would suit me best (before the schmoopies hit puberty and morphe into evil hormone beasts).

how's life in phd land?
