Oh, man, can I _ever_ identify with the whole-- letting someone down thing. =) I think it's healthy for both of us to let that one go! =D Best of luck!
HUGS! Making these choices are *NOt* I never graduated high school due to health reasons. It was a very hard decision... my parents didn't like it, but today see how much happier I am since doing the drop-out. I attended college and graduted, and told myself I'd do it on a part-time basis so I wouldn't wear myself out... I learned to say "no" when things get too much, as I have to watch how much I can do. It isn't easy to say "No" and I commend you for having to drop a course that was putting too much pressure on yourself.
*accepts hugs* thank you. And yeah.... not easy, especially when people know you're the ambitious-and-crazy sort. I attempted 5 courses last fall.... and i've been doing nanowrimo and nanoedmo since my senior year of high school. Even kind-of being a junior ML for nanoedmo my freshman year. *is very likely insane when it comes to her entertainment*
I tend to be a perfectionist because I don't want to not just let other people down, but let myself down too. It can be a tough thing to deal with at times.
