LJ Idol Season 5 Home Game: A Moment of Bliss
So, today, I'm free from 1PM til 7PM. I spend most of my afternoon in the room if I haven't decided to spend it in the library. soooo.. Today I come back to my room and my roommate's still in class. This makes me obscenely happy.
10 minutes later, she comes in and says her study group leader for Italian said that her last name is a vulgar word in Italian, so the two of us go look it up. XD And it ends up, her last name seems to be spun off the slang word for "bitch or more literally, slut". And of course my roommate gets carried away when distracted, soooooooo she's talking to her kind-of sort-of boyfriend(they aren't officially dating, but they may as well be in a long-distance relationship) and reading aloud the other entries in the italian slang dictionary we found really freaking loudly. It's not enough that all you can hear at night is clickclickclick cause she's up 2-3 hours later than I am and most days has to be up 2 hours before me. (I wake up, shower, and then start turning on lights to wake HER up).
And now she just left for dinner so it's really freaking quiet and I'm really happy, but i gotta run like now because I have a meeting (and I'm the only one who can let the other eboard members in cause they're commuters). :D
Well anyway, yeah my brief moments of peace are whenever my roommate happens to disappear. I love her because we don't have to constantly socialize, but at the same time... she can be really annoying(like using rubber cement until the room reeks at 1:30am when I'm trying to sleep).
