I'm glad you're fine! If you didn't call the police call them asap and report the hit and run. It's automatically their fault and your uninsured motorists insurance should take care of it so your rates don't go up. The things you learn with a hit and run on x-mas eve >.
Thank you. <3 Yeah, I called the police after the accident and after my mom showed up. They said they'd be on the look-out but since they drove off towards Hwy92, they could've gotten away really easily that night. -_-
I second Nadia's advice--I was involved in a hit in run in high school and the insurance took care of it. I'm glad you weren't hurt, but that's awful...I can't believe they just left!
Hopefully since they were coming out of the complex they'll be back and you can get the tag number and/or talk to the fuckers.
Yeah, Katy and I have been on the look-out! We even drove around our part of the complex looking. Unfortunately we can't get into the other sections of the complex. e_e /hugs!
At least you're okay. When I read the first sentence my heart froze. o.o But I agree with Nadia as well... in the very least your insurance can pay for some damages and then maybe you'll be able to keep your PT. How are you getting around now?
Fortunately I was able to borrow my mom's car for the first few days and now that JD's in town, he's been helping me out. -_- And insurance will pay for it, I just have to wait on the police report. I'm just worried that they'll declare my car a "total loss" and give me what the car would have been worth before the accident which isn't much. =\
