Well, I think I'm finally starting to look a little less Canadian (tan wise) but apparently (as our American secretary, AprilDawn informs me) I still have a very Canadian accent, more so than some of the other ladies

yeah, I get that from the Americans at school a lot. We don't say "aboot" but we say something like "aboat", while they say "abowt". Is Luke an American?

yeah you have nailed it. that's exactly the difference I couldn't pin-point!
and no, luke is not american his is a dutch-english Canadian boy:)
