Little Annoyances

I've been playing on RP servers in World of Warcraft for a long time now, and in that time I've had plenty of time to immerse myself in said servers' communities. One of the things that tend to pop up are "advice for new RPer" threads on forums and discussion in in-game channels and the like, and generally there's a lot of good common sense stuff.

I understand the idea based on the fact that there are SO MANY and yes, characters that seem to have little or no dimension outside of their sexual orientation. But that's also true for heterosexual characters who are nothing more than the physical aspect of their sexuality. Or maybe I'm just a high-brow douchebag style of player.

But on that note, I would also like to take this opportunity to say that it would be very nice to see a game that isn't so keen on oversexualizing avatars to begin with. I want to play an old person or a skinny person or a short person or a lady with small boobs or or or . . . I don't know. Some random assignment of traits because that is LIFE.

I'm missing /spacegoats these days. We had some good discussions.
