Sam had settled into his room, as much as he could. After his second night sleeping there, he had opened the wardrobe to find several changes of clothes. Everything fit perfectly. And the weird thing was, he swore the leather jacket and boots were his own from his flat in 1973. He didn't hesitate to change his clothes, feeling much more comfortable in this attire than he had in the suit from 2006.
He spent sometime debating whether or not to follow some of these strange leads from the voice mail. What they were leads to, he didn't exactly know. But the messages between Donna Noble and the Doctor seemed to be the most logical place to start. He wasn't planning on doing anything dangerous by himself. He just wanted to go check it out.
He followed the directions, and found the room easily. He hadn't remembered seeing this room before. And of course, he'd walked the castle once already making notes of the different locations. He pushed the door open and stepped inside. No, Sam had definitely missed this one. He closed the door carefully behind himself before stepping further inside. Sam carefully examined the nearest statue, trying to find any clue in any of the pieces in the room.
