With Vala disappeared, Dairine figured it couldn't be a bad thing to tell Jack her suspicions about Sam. That was why she'd mentioned them on the phone at all. She strusted him, and he'd been cool about her getting involved with things before, so she didn't think he'd freak out too much. She hoped, anyway. Plus, it would be nice to have him along in the future.
So she made her way to the Time Room, Spot walking along beside her. She'd barely gotten a chance to talk to him about all this, but she could tell that the meetings with Sam made him nervous.
"The future will be cool," she said, once they'd gotten to the Time Room. "Maybe we could look around, find you a new upgrade." Probably not, but one could always hope.
