Cia headed to the cabin called Tomorrow (really, who named these damned places?). Sirius had told her only that Barty could be intense, and to be patient with him. She found it odd, but since he knew Barty, she listened.
Barty jumped a bit when he heard the knock on the door, then got up and went to answer it. He was a little surprised at the person standing in front of him and he hoped he was able to hide it.
"You must be Cia. Sirius told me about you. Please, come in." It felt weird to hear nicities coming out of his own mouth, but it was definitely a start. He stepped aside and held the door open for her.
Cia wouldn't have been offended if he'd shown some reaction to her appearance. She was very short, thin, dressed in what muggles called Goth, had red-dyed hair. Definitely not normal.
She stepped in and glanced around. After a moment, she frowned. 'That wall don't match the outside...' She walked over, peering at it, but there was no trace of a door.
Barty looked over at the wall. Normally that level of observation skill would be found impressive, right now it was a bit annoying.
"Really? Hadn't noticed." He cleared his throat. "Now, shall we get to your lesson?" He moved over and indicated one of the chairs near the table with the empty vials and jars.
"Won't be necessary. You won't get killed by a unicorn, I promise." Once they got back to the cabin he just set the jar with the nettles outside the door and then turned to Cia.
"Alright, so let's go looking for a porcupine. More than one would be good." He nodded.
"I'm going to teach you a locator spell. It's very easy." He smiled and held his wand flat across the palm of his right hand.
"All you have to do is think about what you want to find. Concentrate on that thing and then say 'Point me' and your wand will show the wan." He smiled, then did just as he described. He thought about porcupines and then said
"Point me." The wand turned in his hand a few times before pointing ahead and a little to the left.
