It had taken Rose most of her energy to tell them about the cure. The demon, Aeshma, fought so hard to keep her quiet, but the end, Rose Tyler - defender of the Earth, won the battle. That was only one of many battles the young girl would have to win to survive. Hopefully, the Doctor and Alex would be able to get all that was needed in time to save Rose.
Rose was left with Nick at the cottage. She was out cold so he didn’t really have anything to worry about. A few times she slipped back in and would start to wake for a few minutes, nothing lasting over a few though. Her thoughts were filled with darkness as she slept; there was a constant battle inside of her that Nick couldn’t see. She hoped he was near, but she couldn’t tell. The few times that she did wake up she tired to look for him, call out his name or even reach out for him. She couldn’t be sure if she ever found him as the demon would take over as soon as it could.
Time must’ve passed by, because this time when she started to wake she didn’t feel as restless. Her body was relaxed and her mind didn’t feel as clouded. “Nick,” she whispered out and opened her eyes. A bit of light shinned through the window and forced her to close her eyes once more; she must’ve slept the whole night through.
