Donna Noble was extremely and utterly Not Pleased.

It was bad enough that the Doctor decided to go swanning off to god knows where, leaving her stuck at her mother's house until she uncovered the note and ticket he'd apparently left in the kitchen while she was sleeping. It was bad enough she had to then borrow enough money off her mum, who'd complained and criticized for nearly half an hour before giving in, to get to where she'd board the helicopter. It was bad enough that the helicopter pilot, when she'd arrived and been loaded in, had been mostly silent and completely rude when she tried to engage him in completely simple conversation. That was all bad enough.

But then the helicopter pilot and dumped her at a point she imagined was probably about as far away from the castle as his boss would let him get away with. Oh, no, Donna was not pleased, not at all.

Twenty minutes of trudging brought her to the front entrance of the castle, and she frowned a bit, looking around for a tour guide or security guard or customer service desk, so she could find the Doctor and have a shower and a change in the TARDIS.

"Hullo?" she called out after a moment.

This was starting to look more and more like one of the Doctor's adventures that would involve running. The only mild consolation was that she was wearing comfortable shoes.

donna noble, the doctor
