Most FT Freelancers that I know either get their insurance through a spouse or a parent (if they're underage... although if they're in college, does that count as FT Freelance? Especially as they'd have the option of crappy insurance/medical care through their school?) or else go without entirely.

Which means the lay-deez I know rely on Planned Parenthood for gyne exams and birth control and STI screenings.

Yup. That was me.

I find people who are against universal health care have rarely had to survive without insurance.

No kidding.

Have you seen the protest signs of "Just give me the health care the government has" or "senators have" or something like that?

That is extremely good health care, you morons!
