I'm not even sure I've heard of Frank Cotrell Bryce before, and now you mention him at the exact moment I'm reading an interview with him!

I'm the opposite in terms of reading - over a month, my reading generally ends up within a few books of the monthly average. I suspect I must balance frantic weeks with quiet weeks somehow, or just sneak away to bed early to read when guests come :) But this is something I never would have noticed until I started wrtiign down what I was reading.

Am keen to read The boneshaker. I enjoyed Cherie Priest's book Boneshaker recently too - how unlucky to have two such similar titles in the same year!

ps sorry for the edits, OMG so many, obv can't type first thing in morning

Great article -- thanks! Wow, seven kids! I read Boyce's first book, Millions, a long time ago and have loved him ever since. I gotta go edit this post so that I spell his name right. I just noticed the error -- gah!

Priest's Boneshaker is on my must-read list, too, but I doubt it'll be much like Milford's, except for the steampunkyness. It's amazing how varied steampunk can get, really.
