Between all the LiveJournal problems this last month, getting a cold, and my suddenly crazy schedule, I haven't been online much lately. I still have not read The Name of the Wind. Definitely needs to be on my summer reading list.

Despite its length, it's a quick read. I could have finished it in a few days if I hadn't needed to put it down and read something else for review (and then it took me forever to pick back up). It was one of those books that I raced through while reading it but didn't mind taking a huge break from when Kvothe, the protagonist, got too pompous. It's definitely absorbing but sometimes I found the narrative structure frustrating.

I have the second one on my Kindle right now; I'm just waiting for the right time to read it.
