yeah, that's not what he was saying. in his analogy, there are 3 factors

you=father/husband
meat=wife/daughter
cat=rapist

he is clearly exonerating the rapist
he is blaming the wife/daughter, despite the fact that the father/husband put the cat out there like that in the first place.
