My car was impounded. That's basically it, and all there will be, as there's not really much I can update about, with being stuck in the house until I get my car back or some form of car that's registered

:( I am so sorry. I just received my new registration in the mail...I had to drive around without an insurance or registration card once for a few months because they got lost in the mail somehow...

It's mostly my stupid fault. I should have made sure she paid it, or gotten the title transferred to my name. I'm feeling very claustrophobic and pissed off right now. We pay all this money just to get around and pay even more money to the government. I've had to drive around without an insurance card too ... got pulled over for that at a random checkpoint. Most of my tickets come from cops running my plates at random.

My mom is getting my car back right now, I hope. Even when I get it back, I'm scared to drive it. The inspection sticker is still bad, and I have to get a new license (mine's expired last week) to ... be able to get it inspected. And any cop can run your plates and find out, like, EVERYTHING from that now. They have new-fangled runners that tell them everything about your car and the owner, which creeps me out.

The cop told me while he was driving me home that the townships around here are hurting for money, so they'll pull you over for anything. I'm like .... o rly? kinda like you?
