Here,
and here. Just as a warning, it's spoilertastic!
Personality: Allen is quite a spark of interest in his own world. Being an Exorcist with a curse on him? Freaky. Being an exorcist that legitimately cares for Akuma? More freaky. Because of the curse that his dead adoptive father, Mana Walker, put on him when Allen brought him back with the help of the Millennium Earl as an Akuma, Allen has the ability to see suffering souls within Akuma. Allen wants to relieve these souls’ suffering, mostly because of how much he suffered as a child.
From this, it’s easy to gather that Allen is a very kind and gentle person, who puts himself before others. He’s a true altruist, very rarely doing something for his own satisfaction. Being pulled from rather early in his canon, Allen is a little more accepting and even naïve to some situations. He tends to see things in mostly positive light from this early canon point, and will commonly do as much as he can to make the situation right. Along with this comes a natural affinity towards what is honorable.
He wasn’t always this way. As a child, he was downright spiteful, being abandoned by his parents for his deformity (the Innocence holding left arm), having no trust in people, working a circus, and having not a single human care for him. This changed with Mana’s dog, Allen. (At the time, Allen was known as Red because of his arm, which he covered with an oven mitt.) The dog grew very close to Allen, being the only thing either of them really cared about. With the dog’s passing, Allen and Mana connected on the love of the lost pet, causing Mana to eventually adopt him as his own son.
After Mana’s death and eventual reincarnation as an Akuma, Allen became a lot more of who he is now. He’s always got a scar to burden (the strange curse mark in the shape of a pentacle above his left eye, his white hair (from the shock of the event), and the name ‘Allen Walker’ (Named for the love of his beloved pet and adoptive father) to remember who he is and who he should never become.
Allen is truly a gentleman, and tends to have very gentlemanly mannerisms. A widely popularized theory is that Allen's view of the world and the people in it changed greatly after the Mana incident. Bringing back your dead adoptive father and then promptly accidentally killing him can really change one's view. Instead of spiting the world, he rather began to respect it. Not to mention the people in it.
Another very important aspect of Allen to mention is that he has been a drifter his entire life. Even in the short time that it takes from the series beginning and where he is being pulled from in his canon, his view of the Black Order changed. When Allen was sent there, it was more like a mission from General Cross. It was a goal. It was a job. It was an outlet to help the people and even Akuma that had been suffering. Allen quickly realized, though, that those in the Black Order really started to become more like family to him, and for the first time, he was able to call the Order's Headquarters 'Home'.
Allen does have his downsides as well. With that high hope of honor comes a sense of sadness when he cannot help someone. He tends to blame himself for events that were, unlikely, out of his control, blaming it on his failure to protect someone or something. On several occasions, these failures lead to him entering a sort of superhuman rage. Allen takes the protection of others very seriously.
Allen has an insatiable appetite. Please be sure to remove all hands while he is eating. It might get lost. He’s known for ordering copious amounts of food, and be able to eat EVERYTHING. Growing teenage hunger or other abnormal reason-it’s up to you.
One more thing on Allen: Please do not mention his master around him. His relationship with General Cross is and always will be something he much prefers to forget. That and the astronomically large debt that General Cross accumulated in his name. We know it's well over 2 million yen, as at one point in the canon, a Noah alerts Allen that they had to pay one of Cross' debts of 2 million yen. Allen shrugs this off stating 'That is but a fraction of what I've paid for him.'
Needless to say, mentioning Cross in front of him can bring out a very dark and angry side mostly unseen on Allen Walker.

Samples
First Person Sample: [Why, this is an odd scene. Here's the feed. And you see it's well up in the air. And as it moves, you can also see the white-haired lad on the ground, looking more irritated than anything.]
Oi, OI. Bring that back down here! Vivian! [Of course he would get a prankster for a Pokemon. And it wasn't like he could activate his Innocence to try and grab her. He needed a badge...]
Alright, alright... We'll head to Cherrygrove... And get you some... poketreats, okay? Is that agreeable? [Obviously it was, for Vivian floated down, practically tossing the device back into Allen's hands while making a very excited noise. He fumbled with it a moment before laughing softly.] You're lucky I can't stay angry with you.
[Allen then looks back to the device and smiles, scratching the back of his head.] I apologize if that made you dizzy. I guess I should start keeping this on my person, rather than where Vivian can get a hold of it.
Third Person Sample: Three. Days. Three days he'd been wandering around this forest, trying to figure out which way was up. Three days of battling with tired Pokemon, three days of uncomfortable sleeping... Three days without a decent meal. This was most obviously, the thing most affecting Allen, who was lying on the ground, lethargic look in his eyes. "I-I'm not gonna make it... This is it."
The Misdreavus decided floating around him was the best idea, cooing words of encouragement to him.
Groaning, Allen rolls over, so his stomach is facing the canopy top. Little Caterpies and Weedles roaming all around and in the treetops... What a place to go. "I always thought it would be more... I don't know, heroic?" A dramatic sigh... "I imagined it would be in my own world too..."
This place was much different from his own. No demons to fight, no Noah to take care of, no Komurin robots trying to take his cursed arm off. He couldn't even activate his Innocence, though he could still feel it within him. This place was more peaceful... Much more carefree. Not that it didn't have it's dangers, just... to a much less degree.
Wait...
What was that amazing aroma?
... Food?
It was amazing, the energy he obtained from the mere thought that food existed. With Vivian following close behind, Allen scrambled to his feet and followed his senses to the source of the amazing aroma. He was lucky enough to stumble upon a couple other travelers with some spare food they'd gathered.
"Ah, thank you so much. I-I've been out here well over three days. So very lost," he said, rubbing the back of his head. Go figure he misplaced the map...
"Well, if you take this path up for a mile or so, you can get to the next route."
... Wait, seriously? "Thank you so much! Seems like I may get out of here with my life yet!" The last comment was... mostly joking. Mostly.
