[Yeah, Rarity's just gotten into the habit of ignoring drones utterly when they wonder why a dog is in the fabric store. She periodically pushes them away with her magic before continuing on with her business.]

I know, it really is a disappointment, isn't it?

( Oh, well, this was new but definitely not the strangest thing she's encountered. Besides, it's hard not to give a wary smile and nod. )

Yeah, it's really hard to work with. I got lucky once and got some of my fabric from home in the mail but it's always nice to have extra.

Yes, I've been exceptionally fortunate in that regard as well. It's a little smaller than I'm used to back home, but I have my entire studio back up and running now!

[Beaming proudly.]

Oh, pardon me, I really should introduce myself first... my name is Rarity.

A whole studio? Wow, I just had the art room back at school to use. Sounds amazing.

Ah, you're right! It's really nice to meet you, Rarity. I'm Elizabeth.

I don't know if it's a valid way to asses, but I know that one never gets finished in my house.

[Canada shifts her nearly-full grocery basket to one arm and gestures at one of the boxes. This may mean that the other one is better, or her housemates are just really fussy.]

Huh. Well, I guess it's worth a shot. ( She shifts, moving to place the box of cereal into her own basket. ) Napoleon always said the more colorful they were, the better but he ate everything.

And thank you too.

You've been here before? I've known instances where people come back without knowledge of this place, but I hadn't spoken to many who did recall this place.

I was and it does not seem to happen that often, I can only remember a few times myself. But I was here for about... eight months or so, I guess. July to March.

That's quite a long time ago. I haven't been here quite that long before I left, but I guess that just makes it harder to guess why this place does it.

Ah..? You were gone for such a long time, yet you were pulled into this place again regardless?

[ that's.. not a really good prospect. ]

It's strange, huh? I've had friends get pulled back in here before but they had only been gone a month or two... not close a year after the fact.

It does seem like quite the unusual case. From what I've heard from other people, a month or so is usually the standard..

Who knows. Perhaps this town has taken a liking to you.

... It sure seems that way. Definitely not one of the better things that can happen, I think. At least they gave me all my stuff back.

I'm afraid I don't know anyone from St. Kleio though, I'm sorry.

. . . But welcome back.

It's okay, they wasn't many of us left when I was here last either. So... I guess I can't really be surprised.

( At his welcome though, she cannot help the giggle that escapes her. ) Mm, thank you... I think.

If I find anyone, I'll be sure to let them know they aren't alone though.

Haha, I've found that pleasantries can go a long way here.

I'd be really grateful for that. Even if it ends up being Freud or Napoleon, hehe.

It does help, I have to admit.
