So mom's taking me and ari to this desert resort/camping thing until friday. It should be pretty cool. Or hot. I feel a little sheepish about the whole thing because I spent all semester wailing about not having any friends, and now I can hardly wait to get away from them for awhile. I am so partied out. -

I have finally seen Shaun of the Dead. It was pretty good. So was Sweeney Todd. I have to report that I am still pretty squeamish around gore. Part of me feels as if I should be working on that (homework: stare at pictures of crime scenes all night?) and the rest of me, which is probably the sane part, says that maybe being okay with seeing people' ( Read more... ) -

Man, it is so weird to be home. Everything is the same and different. I'm sitting in the same bed in the same room in the same position listening to a song I've listened to when I'm antsy since I was a junior, pretty much. It's nice enough, though. Portland is neat. I have snarfed blackberries and sat in the sun and shivered in the chilly mornings and enjoyed my classes and hugged Robyn a lot. My journals are probably going to be increasingly rare, if last year is any indication. -

I cut my hair in the bathroom mirror with a pair of scissors, thus crossing another item off my List Of Stuff To Do Before I Get Old. I think it turned out great, though I might need someone to even up the wisps depending on how many people laugh at me tomorrow ( Read more... )
