Got my heart monitor taken off this morning, I have what looks like a lamprey bite in four different places. Ouch. :P The little old lady that took the contacts off also rubbed the skin with alcohol wipes, probably didn't help much. X) Then downstairs to meet my cardiologist ( Read more... )

ok so after pondering this for awhile, he may sorta be on track. It may actually be a sodium thing because you DO drink a lot of water (90 oz on top of what's in your food). Yes your levels are normal, but what if you're one of them (like me on certain blood things) that needs a higher level to be "normal"? Maybe the caffeine was masking the issue? Sodium does raise blood pressure after all.

if anything try eating some ramen and see if you still get flutters on that day.

Eek. It wasn't a fat guy in Downtown Jacksonville, was it? Xander had a cardiologist who acted very similarly with great disinterest. We were irked.

Nope, it was some tall skinny Indian guy in St. Augustine. Granted, it was Flagler hospital, and I am not a fan of the doctors there. I may ask my primary if I can get referred to someone at Baptist South, where my fem doc is if this guy turns out to be a nut. If he figures it out from the procedure I get tomorrow, though, and the results from my heart monitor, then all the better. I just didn't like how he said "we'll see after your test whether we should put you on medication or not"... quick to jump the gun, much?

There's no money in cures. Just in treatments.

I inherently distrust any doctor that doesn't listen to the patient's questions, a little too much ego for one's good.

On the other hand, I hope the rest of your birthday went well. n_n *hugs*
