Sanae sighed, mulling over the night previous, returning from his job; he ended up having to stay a little longer than customary in Sur, and... well, things would hopefully be a little more colorful there. And there was the matter of Joshua, who had probably made himself at home. Not that Sanae minded. There was a bit of a soft spot for the boy growing, anyway.
... He was one of the first to visit the apartment, by any means, in a very long time. Dimly the man wondered if Joshua had helped himself to the small gallery that he made from the spare bedroom. Of course, lately it seemed more like a cross between workshop and gallery. Some of the materials were haphazardly thrown about, others in perfect order, and his art had been getting wilder, for a lack of better word. And of course, this had been happening since the refugees were in town...
Weeks, he thought, unlocking his door and hearing the newsfeed from a neighbor who had left his door cracked open. Weeks since I put out anything that really makes sense in the eyes of the

Unfortunately, he hadn't got as far as there! His only areas of interest around the others apartment as of yet were the kitchen (Where a half-hearted search for something to eat had turned fruitless.) and the living room for the sake of the TV. As of yet, anyway

Sanae moved towards the couch, eyeing the television and looking with disinterest at the story of double Siamese twins before switching it off. "Don't know why I have that thing, there's a television at the cafe already." He muttered under his breath, sitting on the couch and looking towards the bound book with a certain degree of affection.
"At least you think that way. People tend to think that they 'grow up' too fast in my opinion. Just makes them seem more childish when you put that with their flaws. Live how you feel, for the moment. That's my take on it all." He said, reclining back into the cushions of the couch. "And you could say that I am, I guess. The coffee keeps me goin'. And if you're hungry, I could order something for us. Still need t' go shopping, unfortunately."
Living for the moment didn't seem to cover things like food shopping, it seemed. However, it wasn't as if his lifestyle was any different, he'd find himself most likely in a far worse position if it weren't for his hired domestic help -- namely a little old woman that was practically deaf, practically blind and very, very dumb. That was what he paid for, after all -- she kept the house clean and cooked well. The fact she didn't say a word was part of the bargain.
Catching the others look towards the book, he laughed softly at the others words. " Doesn't that sound like regret, though? 'Oh, I should have done this...' 'and that, but I got too old too fast..' Its placing the blame elsewhere. Something people are good at. And I'll have something if you are. If you'd just like to go to sleep though, thats fine also. "
