The ex-Officer had never felt more bored in his life. He had no purpose in Crucen. No goals to strive for. No career ladder to climb--Hell, he wasn't even allowed to get a job and it was unlikely anyone would even pay him under the table to do shit. He merely existed.
And so, in a rather fruitless attempt to relieve the maddening boredom, Minamimoto wandered aimlessly around Centro's mall, more or less window shopping and scowling back at the upper class citizens who gave him weird looks and whispered amongst themselves. He could also sense a rent-a-cop or someone following him around the building, making five-finger discounts even more difficult than they were before. Not that the security guard reacting would make much of a difference for his well-being; he just didn't care to get banned from the mall at this time. He needed something to do besides going to the library.
