My dad was a huge fan of Reagan. My dad also used to tell me that the Russians were controlling the weather.
What's cool is now Reagan and my dad can talk about that. Hopefully they're shariong a house with J. Edgar Hoover, just down the street from Trotsky. Reagan caused a lot of anguish, from what I understand. My dad caused a little, and I'm sure I've caused a bit as well. In the end, it means nothing, it neither IS nor ISN'T, because Samsarra is itself an illusion. What is anything we do, really, in the context of eternity?
Is this moral equivocation? Of course not. It just means that the things we often think are important, aren't.
